How often do you think about just how truly merciful and loving God is in giving us so many second chances? Jesus was greatly displeased with the Laodicean church because they had excluded Him. But He did not withdraw His love from them. In fact, He loved them so much, He knocked on their door and patiently waited to see if they would let Him come back in.
